HOW TO HELP
One shared position.
Four ways to help.
Help keep residential zoning and stand up for the people who live here. Start with the petition, share your position with town officials, and bring others into the conversation.
STEP 1
Sign the Petition
Add your name to the community’s request to deny R26-13 and retain Neighborhood Residential zoning. Signing helps show the breadth of resident opposition.

Email town government officials
Write to the Town Board and Planning Board to ask that R26-13 be denied. Copy the sample email below, add your name and community, and share your own factual experience. Use the contact information alongside the draft to reach the officials reviewing this proposal.

STEP 3
Show up to town meetings
Your presence matters. Attend the public hearing and subsequent meetings so officials can hear directly from the people affected.
- Check the agenda, time, location, and speaking procedures before attending.
- If you speak, prepare a brief message focused on your experience and the request for denial.
- Bring a neighbor. You can show support even if you choose not to speak.
Meeting schedules can change. Confirm the latest town information before heading out.

- Share StopR2613.com and the petition with friends and neighbors.
- Invite someone to attend a town meeting with you.
- Share the proposal and town-plan reviews so others can check the sources themselves.
